Dave Clarke, MBBS, ABPN, ABCN, FAES

Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, Chief of the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center, Dell Children's Hospital, Dell Medical School, University of Texas-Austin

Dave Clarke is a Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics and Chief, Pediatric Epilepsy at Dell Children’s Medical Center. He received his medical degree at the University of the West Indies, and completed neurology, epilepsy and sleep neurophysiology training at the University of Michigan Medical Center, and the Hospital for Sick Children/University of Toronto. He is a boarded diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology. He has done research in drug resistant epilepsy with a recent focus on reducing disparities and inequities in epilepsy care. He is an elected member of the North American Commission of the International League Against Epilepsy, the Epilepsy Leadership Council Steering Committee, the American Epilepsy Society’s Nominating Committee, President of the Epilepsy Society of the Caribbean, and Secretary/Treasurer of the National Associations of Epilepsy Centers. His many awards include the recent International Ambassador for Epilepsy Award.
