Thank you to everyone who joined the National Plan Advocacy Stakeholder Update on Sep. 25 @ 4 PM ET. Missed the briefing? Access the recording here Passcode: 8=6^.xHt And the slides are here.
Thank you to our exceptional presenters from partner organizations Epilepsy Alliance America, PAME, PERC, DEE-P, CURE Epilepsy, and Epilepsy Foundation. The BIG takeaway - our broad and diverse stakeholder community is rallying to onboard Members of Congress to the National Plan. No two actions look alike. The net effect of many voices with a single ask is leading to the momentum afoot!

One Call to Action: Ask Members of Congress to Sign on to the National Plan
Contact YOUR members. Activate your community. Ask your friends, collegues and neighbors to help. Your stories and lived experiences are the drivers of action.
Share Your Contacts; Join In Person and Virtual Meetings
From now through November, Epilepsies Action Nework (EAN) will be organizing in person and virtual meetings with KEY Members of Congress and their staff.
If you have connections, complete the “Pass the Plan” form. If we schedule a meeting with a Member of Congress in your district or state, we will contact you to join.
An Update from NPEC on Consensus Priorities too!

Thank you also to Dr. Jack Parent who shared an update on the National Plan for Epilepsy Committee initiative to develop Consensus Priorities for the National Plan.
Six work groups led by epilepsy thought leaders have been diligently meeting to gather stakeholder inputs across five areas. (At right)
A public comment period will be open Oct. 13-31. Stay tuned for more information.
We coordinate Stakeholder Updates several times a year. If you missed earlier updates, listen in:
